Tamiya Polishing Compound (finish)

A specialized polishing paste designed for working with plastic models. It comes in a 22 ml tube with an elongated tip. It is recommended to apply it directly to the model's surface or with a specialized applicator. It should also be applied to clean and dry surfaces. While it can successfully smooth out minor imperfections on polished surfaces, its primary purpose is to impart a distinct "gloss effect." It is primarily intended for application to already painted surfaces. It is also suitable for use with transparent parts, removing scratches and scuffs. Residues of this polishing paste can be easily removed with water. It will undoubtedly find wide application in finishing various types of plastic models, but will prove particularly useful when working with model cars, motorcycles, Formula 1 racing cars, and airplanes. It will prove useful wherever a noticeable shine is desired on already painted surfaces.
