Tamiya 87068 Polishing Compound - Coarse is a coarse-grained polishing compound designed for pre-polishing model surfaces. It effectively removes minor scratches, sanding marks, and minor imperfections caused by painting, preparing the surface for subsequent polishing steps.

It's best to apply a small amount of compound to a soft cloth or polishing sponge, then gently buff the surface. Coarse is the first step in Tamiya's three-part polishing compound system. After applying it, you can move on to Polishing Compound - Fine, followed by Polishing Compound - Finish to gradually smooth the surface to a high gloss.
