Tamiya Polishing Compound (fine)

A specialized, fine-grained polishing paste designed for working with plastic models, including transparent parts (e.g., the cockpit canopy). It comes in a 22 ml tube with an elongated tip. It is recommended to apply it directly to the model's surface from the tube or with a specialized applicator. It should also be applied to clean and dry surfaces. It has a dual purpose, smoothing out minor imperfections on polished surfaces while also adding a glossy finish. It can be successfully used both before applying paint to smooth the model's surface and after applying it to add a glossy finish. It's also easy to use on transparent parts, removing scratches and scuffs. Any residue left by this polishing paste can be easily removed with water. It will undoubtedly find wide application in finishing various types of plastic models, but will prove particularly useful when working with model cars, motorcycles, Formula 1 cars and airplanes.
