Green Stuff World Water Soluble Patina VERDIGRIS is a specialized modeling patina designed to create realistic oxidized copper and bronze effects. This product easily reproduces the characteristic green-turquoise tarnish that appears on metal surfaces exposed to time and weathering. It works perfectly on statues, ornaments, architectural elements, armor, weapons, and all copper and bronze details.

Thanks to the partially water-soluble formula, you can freely control the intensity of the effect. Once dry, excess product can be removed or blended with a damp brush, sponge, or cotton pad, achieving natural tonal transitions and realistic aging.

It's perfect for creating the effects of age, moisture, dirt, and oxidation on miniatures, vehicle models, buildings, terrain, and dioramas. The pigments naturally settle into the surface's recesses and textures, providing a more realistic result than traditional paints.

How to use

1. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use
2. Apply the product with a brush or airbrush to the primed surface
3. Leave to dry
4. Use a damp brush, sponge, or cloth to remove some of the effect as needed.
5. Once you have achieved the desired result, protect the model with matte varnish.

Modeling tips

The verdigris effect looks best in recesses, areas where moisture collects, and around details where corrosion naturally sets in. In modeling, the "less is more" principle is often applied – subtle verdigris accents usually look more realistic than a complete surface coating.
