Green Stuff World Water Soluble Patina BLACK SOOT is a specialized weathering agent designed to recreate soot, smoke, burns, and scorch marks caused by combustion and high temperatures. It's perfect for models of military vehicles, locomotives, industrial buildings, ruins, and any other items exposed to fire and exhaust fumes.

Thanks to its partially water-reactivated formula, the product allows for complete control over the intensity of the effect. Once dry, it can be blended, blurred, or partially removed with a damp brush, sponge, or cotton pad, achieving natural tonal transitions and realistic dirt marks.

BLACK SOOT patina is perfect for creating stains around exhaust pipes, chimneys, barrels, engines, exhaust outlets, and damaged vehicle and building components. It naturally settles into the recesses and textures of surfaces, creating a convincing effect of accumulated soot and dust.

How to use

1. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use
2. Apply the product with a brush or airbrush to the prepared surface
3. Leave to dry
4. Use a damp brush or sponge to blend or remove some of the effect to achieve natural transitions.
5. After finishing work, protect the model with matte varnish.
