Green Stuff World: UV resin - water effect 100ml

GSW offers a completely new alternative for artists and modelers who want to create water effects using UV resin.

The resin is a crystal clear gel, just squeeze the product straight from the bottle onto your diorama or stand to create a beautiful representation of seas, rivers, lakes, ponds or puddles. It has many advantages over other traditional ways of creating water effects:

• Ultrafast drying gel. Using a UV flashlight, the resins can be hardened in 2-4 minutes. Drying time is 5-10 minutes on a sunny day. On a cloudy day, 20-40 minutes.
• It can be dyed. The UV resin can be mixed with any of the GSW Intensity or DYE inks to color the gel in just a few drops, allowing you to create different types of water such as swamps or radioactive lakes! IMPORTANT! If you want to tint the UV resin with any of GSW CANDY inks, apply them after the resin is completely cured.
• Does not shrink. The UV resin does not shrink like other water replicating materials. The amount of resin used is the amount of resin you get when it is completely dry.
• Multiple layers can be applied. In case you want to create the effect of immersing something in water, multiple layers can be placed on top of each other with no visible marks between them.
• The resin is easy to work with. It can be freely shaped and carved!
• Low odor and low toxicity compared to more traditional methods.

* Before the resin dries, you can use a heat gun or a kitchen lighter to heat it and push out any air bubbles that may have become trapped in it.

* Please note that the resin will remain in its gel state indefinitely until it comes into contact with a source of natural light or ultraviolet light.

* Do not expose the bottle to natural light, otherwise the gel may start to react and crystallize.

Warnings for UV resin

• Environmental conditions can affect the properties of the material
• It is recommended to use in a dry, ventilated place at a temperature of 18 ° C to 25 ° C. Extreme cold and heat can damage the material.
• Use under inappropriate conditions, inadequate exposure to UV light, or insufficient UV light power may make the surface sticky after curing. In this case, we recommend using stronger UV light or gloss varnish again.
• We recommend using the product within 10 months.
• The shelf life of the product after opening may be shortened depending on storage conditions, UV exposure and low temperatures.
