AK Interactive: Deep Shade acrylic wash - Medium - 30ml

An acrylic product for thinning the Deep Shades range and achieving greater transparency when applying them to miniatures. This medium is neither a thinner nor a solvent. This product allows you to reduce the intensity of Deep Shades by modifying the properties of its formula.

Deep Shade paints were developed for quick and easy shading on small-scale miniatures, while maintaining a matte finish. They simplify painting armies by allowing you to work in three simple steps: Base - Deep Shade - Light. They are formulated with micro-dispersed pigments (less than one micron) in pure acrylic resins to lightly tint volumes and enhance shadow contrast where product pools. The product offers the perfect balance between fluidity and viscosity to facilitate pigment retention in folds and crevices, essential when working on miniatures that typically remain upright. They have excellent adhesion and resistance. A special formula prevents bubbles. Once dry, they do not react with water or their own medium. It is recommended not to wet the application areas to avoid slowing drying time. Applying two thin coats is recommended for deeper effects. It is recommended to use a dedicated medium (AK13010) if you need greater transparency or reduced contrast.
