Matt acrylic, water-based colors, specially designed for the airbrush, but also great on the brush. The Model Air color palette contains the most complete selection of military colors used in recent history, including colors from World War I, World War II and the present day. Each color is based on our experts' extensive research on existing and past military references to offer the modeller the highest possible historical accuracy.
The Air model is used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to prime the surface first and then apply several layers of Model Air. The colors dry very quickly and form a homogeneous layer of extraordinary resistance, while maintaining even the smallest details of the model. For airbrush painting, a compressor air pressure of 15 - 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg is recommended. The Air model can of course also be applied with a brush. For proper airbrush maintenance, we recommend the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.
Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and solvent-free. See also certified product safety information on the Security page.
Packaging: The Model Air is presented in bottles of 17 ml / 0.57 fl oz. with dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, so it can be used in minimal amounts and stored for a long time.
