Java: chess and checkers (25cm)

Chess is a board game that belongs to the family of strategy games.
A chess game is played by two players on a board called the chessboard, which consists of 64 equal-sized square fields, alternating between light and dark. It is placed between two opponents so that the corner square to the right of each player is white. Opponents have sets of pieces in different colors. Checkers is a board game for two players. The course of the game is played on dark squares of the board using 12 white and 12 black pieces. The goal of the game is to capture as many opponent's pieces as possible, or to block them so that the opponent cannot make any move.
