The foundation of the genesis of Japanese Dice are the virtues derived from the old Samurai traditions, known in the West mainly in an embellished, romantic version. However, this is enough to transfer certain elements to our times, creating a vision of the Samurai as a man not only trained in combat, but also with powerful willpower, unshakable self-discipline and a strong system of values. According to the Bushido code, these noble warriors were a great example of what every man and woman should strive for in their lives.
The Bushido Code is represented by the seven main Virtues, originally Gi, Rei, Yu, Meiyo, Jin, Makoto and Chu - meaning Integrity, Respect, Courage, Honor, Compassion, Integrity and Loyalty respectively. We wanted our Japanese Dice to reflect these Virtues in an unobvious but meaningful way. We know that our fans are endowed with great imaginations, so we allow ourselves the following interpretation.
The Blue Star Lotus is a set that embodies the virtues of Bushido through the constant pursuit of perfection - to become the best version of yourself, constant practice in what requires training. When using these dice, you may feel that you gain more experience with each throw. And it will feel absolutely right, because every time you perform this specific pattern of hand movements, you slowly become more proficient at it. Of course, we can't promise that you'll get the skill to roll the planned score every time... but surely your moves will gain the grace and confidence of seasoned players over time.
