A range of the highest quality Kolinsky brushes from GSW, GOLD SERIES. Gold series brushes are made of a high-quality wooden handle, a brass cap and the best Kolinsky Siberian bristles. They stand out from the mid-range with higher paint capacity, greater autonomy and masterful, fine strokes. The brushes are stored in a protective case to preserve their quality.

They work best with water-based acrylic paints, especially gentle techniques such as wash, blending, layering and degrading . They are generally recommended for any technique requiring a more diluted substrate. We advise against single strokes or dry brushing as they may damage the tip.

By nature, natural brushes require more care than synthetic bristles, as they may lose their firmness over time and breakage may occur. To make your kolinsky brushes last longer, we recommend that you avoid leaving any paint residue to dry on the bristles and shape them and sharpen the tips with our Brush Repair Gel. After painting, leave them with the bristles facing up to avoid deformation of the tips.

We do not recommend using Kolinsky brushes for oil paints, as the products required to clean the bristles after this type of paint can quickly destroy Kolinsky's natural hair.
