Djeco board game: Pirates

The "Pirates" game is a tactical game for 2-4 players who have to play the role of a pirate or daredevils. The daredevil must take the pirate's treasure, but the pirate himself tries to make it difficult for him and tries to take the ships. A round lasts approximately 20 minutes.

Contents:

1 pirate figure, 3 Adventurer ships, 3 treasure chests 1 game board, 7 coconut palms, 1 large pirate die, 1 small Adventurer ship die, 9 coconut palm cards, 4 parrot cards

Game Goal:

for the Daredevil ships - take the pirate's treasure from his chest hidden in the cave and carry it to a small boat without getting caught. For the pirate - catch all the Daredevils' ships so that they cannot escape with the treasure.

Preparation for the game:

Choose a player who will be a pirate, if several players want to be a pirate, each of them rolls a pirate die - the person with the highest result becomes a pirate.

The other players take the "Adventurous" ships. They must now plant 7 coconut trees (hide spots) on spots near the darkest areas on the board. They must then place the Daredevils' ships on a small square with a picture of the ship, and place the pirate and his chest on the square symbolizing his cave.

Depending on the number of players, we deal cards:

- for 3 Daredevil ships - each ship receives 3 coconut palm cards and 1 parrot card,

- for 2 ships - each gets 4 cards with coconut palms and 2 cards with a parrot,

- for the 2nd ship – the player gets 5 cards with palm trees and 3 cards with a parrot.

Game rules:

1. The game begins with the player whose ship is on the pirate's left, rolls a small dice and moves his ship by as many squares as the numbers on the dice. If several people are playing the game, they act in the same way, the queue runs clockwise.
2. It's the pirate's turn to move - he throws the black dice and moves the figure the appropriate number of squares on the board. After his move, the first turn is completed and the next one begins.
