A unique set of cards with works from the National Museum in Krakow!
Dixit has been inviting players to an extraordinary world of creative fun for years. Contemporary artists create unusual, ambiguous images that perfectly stimulate the imagination and allow you to create various associations and discover them together with family and friends. However, classic art can be just as inspiring!
Dixit: MNC has 84 brand new cards that you can use as an alternate deck or mix them with the set from any base game. On them you will find fragments of works of art gathered in the collection of the National Museum in Krakow, including "Lady with an Ermine" by Leonardo da Vinci, "Girl with Chrysanthemums" by Olga Boznańska, "Young Poland" by Jacek Malczewski or "Wernyhora" by Jan Matejko. This unique addition will allow you not only to discover the world of unconventional associations, but also to explore the galleries of the NMK and admire the art of different eras.
What is Dixit?
This is a narrative card game in which we invent and guess associations to ambiguous, richly illustrated cards. In each round, one of the players becomes the storyteller by choosing any card from their hand and saying the password that they think is reflected in the picture. It can be a single word, a whole sentence, a quote or a fragment of a song or movie. The next person chooses one from their cards that matches the storyteller's words, and then all the pictures are shuffled. The task of the players is to guess which picture was the first one.
