W dodatku Bound by Fate dwoje graczy musi wypełnić wspólne przeznaczenie i razem stawić czoła dwójce przeciwników. Wewnątrz zespołu możecie dzielić się wyposażeniem, wypełniać nawzajem swoje zadania, a dzięki temu szybciej odkrywać mapę. Drużyna która będzie lepiej współpracować, pierwsza wypełni swoje przeznaczenie i wygra grę.

Dodatek zawiera elementy które umożliwiają rozegranie w trybie 2vs2 wszystkich 11 scenariuszy z podstawowej gry, oraz dodatków Sea of Sands i Myth and Folklore.

Rozszerzenie Destinies: Witchwood i All That Glitters Scenario Pack zawierają karty Bound by Fate trybu 2v2 do swoich scenariuszy, ale nadal wymagają komponentów rozszerzenia Bound by Fate do gry.
