Self-sealing mats are the original OLFA technology that uses the ability of the outer layers of the mat to clamp the cuts made on it. These layers are made of soft PVC, thanks to which the blade penetrates the mat, effectively cuts the material and stays sharp for longer. The core of the mat made of hard PVC reduces the risk of cutting it, protecting the worktop against damage. The slightly rough surface of the mat prevents the cut material from slipping on it.

OLFA mats are manufactured using a unique technology exclusively in Japan from specially selected high-purity materials. This makes them particularly durable and guarantees the maximum service life of the blades.

♦ The mat is not recommended for cutting with great force with knives with segment blades, model: HB and LB.
