Welcome to the unique Clap show, where your vocal harmony, rhythm, and melody will be the stars. Don't have a sense of rhythm? Don't worry, it'll be fun!
Choose one player to act as the metronome. They will be responsible for maintaining the tempo and dealing the cards. The metronome selects cards according to difficulty and shuffles them.
For your first games, we suggest starting with cards with a value of 3.
The metronome deals each player one card face up and begins marking a time signature (one, two, three, four), repeating it throughout the round. This establishes the rhythm they must follow.
After the first time signature (one, two, three, four), the other players clap or tap according to the directions on their cards at the same time.
Each measure, before the count of three, the metronome deals a new card to one player. From this point on, players must alternate between notes. For each number of the measure, they sing a note. No player may have more than two cards.
If at any time the metronome detects an error, it stops the song by shouting "CLAP!". All players keep the card with the highest score, except the one who made the error, who gives their highest card to the metronome.
If no one makes a mistake and all players play their 4 cards within a measure, everyone keeps the card with the highest score and the metronome stops none of them.
The remaining cards are shuffled again, with the player to the right of the previous one.
