Carcassonne: Watchtowers (Die Wachtürme) is a mini-expansion to the new edition of Carcassonne. Contains 12 new landscape tiles with watchtowers.
Players do not occupy watchtowers directly. On a tile, they can place a meeple on a city, road or field. If a road or town with a watchtower is completed, the player first scores the watchtowers bonus, then he scores as normal. Watchtowers do not affect the scores of fields, and each has a different bonus.
