Carcassonne: Amazonas (German Edition)

Entering the South American rainforest, the river and jungle abound in colorful nature that creates a spectacular panorama. But you have little time to appreciate the serenity of the moment: others go to the wilderness to build camps and explore the river.

The race is on! Carcassonne: Amazonas sends you on a journey across the Amazon, filling the river and surrounding areas, one tile at a time. Discover many great secrets in the rainforest along the way. Ultimately, you decide whether you want to place your meples or camps on the tiles you reveal. Whoever scores the most points on their journey will be declared the winner!

Flora and fauna

There are all kinds of things in the jungle. As you travel, you will come across many animals, visit villages, and stroll along the many tributaries of the Amazon River. Just like in Carcassonne, you have the option to place mepli on objects, e.g. a native village, once you discover them. As soon as the facility is completed, you get points. But with Carcassonne: Amazonas, it takes more than clever tile placement to win - it's also a race along the Amazon River itself. When a token is added to a river, the player whose boat is farthest down the river scores points equal to the number of piranhas and caimans appearing on that tile. To become a legendary explorer, you need to find the right balance between placing your crews and camps and staying ahead of the competition!
