Axis & Allies 1942 (second edition)

It's spring 1942 and the world is at war. Five major powers are fighting for supremacy: Germany and Japan are united against the great alliance of Great Britain, the Soviet Union and the United States.

Take on the role of one of the commanders and lead offensive actions on one of the fronts. In Axis & Allies 1942 , cruiser models appear for the first time, permanently changing the way naval battles are conducted.

The second edition of Axis & Allies: 1942 includes an extended game board 40 x 26 inches (approx. 100 x 65 cm), a change in the arrangement of units, five new figure designs (British artillery, submarine and destroyer units; German artillery; Russian submarine; and anti-aircraft artillery) and several rule changes, e.g. AA-Guns have been replaced by AAA Guns, IC has shared air defense against strategic bombing raids, and Honolulu is now Victory City.
